May I say a mighty big thank you to our Town Council for another wonderful Pensioners’ Trip where my sister and I chose to visit The Lakes on 17th July.
We have always enjoyed these free excursions and this was no exception. The Coffee stop was lovely at the Rheged Centre and such a relaxing venue with tea and shortbread biscuits.
The meal at The Hydro Hotel was superb – the best I’ve ever had over the 23 trips I have made.
Our driver and courier were great and showed us nothing but courtesy throughout the day. All in all it was a fantastic day out and we thank the Town Council and all the staff who work to make it possible.
