Volunteer Manager Urgently Wanted
Community stalwart Peter Beaty is being forced to retire from voluntary work he has pursued all his working life.
For the last 14 years he has run Neville Parade Community Centre, saving it from certain closure, by refurbishing and almost rebuilding the 60’s premises. The Centre is now one of the best facilities in town for hire with a hall and stage.
Peter, now 85 years old, has to retire on instructions from his doctor and he is anxious to find a replacement very urgently.
