A group of upper sixth form chemistry students from Carmel College in Darlington visited the INEOS Newton Aycliffe Site on Thursday 13 December 2012.  During their visit they learned about PVC and the products made from it and saw first hand the PVC resin manufacturing plant. This was followed by an explanation and demonstration of PVC compounds manufacture in the Process Development Laboratory. An interesting part was the Analytical Laboratory to see how the complex analytical equipment works and is used in practice.  Feedback from the students was very positive.
