On 29th and 30th of June Macmillan Cancer Support raised a magnificent sum of £1339 in a bucket collection at Tesco Newton Aycliffe. Kevin and Chris, Macmillan Volunteers, would like to thank the management and staff of Tescos for their hospitality and to say a big thank you to all of the customers who donated over the 2 days.
During the collection a further donation of £765 was made to Macmillan by Philip Topping who very bravely lost his flowing locks and ponytail in a sponsored headshave. A big thank you goes to Philip and all of his sponsors for a fantastic donation.
