A fantastic afternoon at the Navy Club with the New Friends, New Places members, who held a Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan.
Lots of baking by members, delicious savouries and the cakes were scrumptious.
Walkers the Butchers supplied us with some lovely cakes and savouries at a very reasonable price and Petals supplied us with wrapping paper. Not forgetting the two barmaids, Pauline and Sally, for all there help.
The event was also attended by the Mayor of Great Aycliffe, Mary Dalton and her consort, Val Rawe.
The members of NFNP held Bric-a-Brac sales to start the fund, and after the event a total of £637.41 was raised for Macmillan.
A very big thank you to all the members of New Friends, New Places for all there help and support for making this event a great success.
