Clubs are spread worldwide and ambassadors share inter club exchanges where people stay with hosts and learn so much of the culture and other aspects of their individual countries.
Durham is hosting fifteen people from Moscow in April and in August they will be visiting the Limburg region of Belgium. They also have local social occasions and in March seventeen members are going to Bournemouth for a weekend visit.
President Cynthia Scott said: “Over the years members have spent time in virtually every area of the world – one of my best experiences was two weeks living in the homes of two families in different regions of Japan travelling between them on the Bullet Train which was another experience”.
The club offers the opportunity to travel, especially suitable for people who are on their own, then have the security of travelling as a group. The Friendship Force International was started by President Carter.
