A huge thanks once again to everyone who helped collect hundreds of boxes for this year’s Paws2Rescue Christmas Shoe Box Appeal.

Beverley Dowson, who went above and beyond by sorting and carefully wrapping well over 120 boxes for the Romanian children, to her cousin Sarah for her donated clothes and acquaintances at One Point, plus stallholders at Willington car boot for their kind donations, her parents for helping on collection day and Gail at Boyes for donating hundreds of shoe boxes.

Dawn Hughes for all the boxes of clothes, coats & shoes. Children’s Blessings for the 4 large bags full of shoes. Lindsey Hurst and friends for the boxes of animal donations, Madison for storing donations and for helping load up the van and also Martin and Cayden for their help.

And last, but not least, Paul Hartford for travelling all the way to Sutton in Surrey to deliver everything safely and helping Alison to move everything into storage ready for the final journey which left Big Yellow Storage in Sutton on Monday 3rd December to travel to Romania. We hope to have pictures of some of the children, who don’t normally get to celebrate Christmas as their families are too poor, and animals receiving these donations nearer to Christmas. We think we will have helped make a few dreams come true this year, so watch this space!

Thank you again to everyone, sorry if I have missed any names, but you all know who you are, myself and P2R are more than grateful for all the donations and the time and effort you have put in to make this happen, you have all made a really huge difference.
