Christmas is fast approaching and although those whom we love but see no more are in our thoughts each and every day, it is often helpful at this time of year to come together with others and spend some time in thought and prayer – supporting one another and holding our loved ones before God. It is for this reason that the Parish of Great Aycliffe will be hosting a Memorial Service in St Clare’s Church on Sunday November 29th at 4:00pm.
We extend an invitation to ALL who wish to remember those whom they love in this way, to join us at this service – there will be an opportunity to write your loved one’s name upon a star and hang it on our Christmas Tree, to sing Carols and to light a candle for your loved one as their name is read out. After the Service you are again warmly invited to join us in the Church Hall for light refreshments and/or to take the opportunity to see your loved one’s name in our Memorial Book set out in the Library.
