Lifeline Community Action (LCA) has recently recruited a new project co-ordinator to join their team for 6 months. Pauline Chambers comes to them with a vast amount of skills and experience from her previous role as Chief Executive of Sedgefield & District Citizens Advice Bureau.
As well as her role with LCA, Pauline is also an Assessor for Senior Police Selection with the College of Policing and an Independent Board Member at HMP/YOI Low Newton as well as a volunteer member of Great Aycliffe Community Aid Partnership (GACAP). Pauline said “I am delighted to have this opportunity to work with LCA and to help the Charity grow, as the work they do in the community benefits people from the most disadvantaged families and individuals and the number of people they help on the funding they receive is extraordinary.
Their holistic approach and on-going support to their clients is exemplary and I am happy to be part of the team”.  LCA operates a number of projects in the town such as Helping Hands, Baby Basics, and Healthy Heart Hub as well as other targeted projects such as the Job Club & Money Course.  If anyone one would like to support the organisation then please drop Pauline an email on paulinechamberslca@gmail.com or telephone mobile 07936 431262
Susan Sadler, Founder of LCA said “Not only is Pauline more than capable of doing the role, she is also conscientious, and to top it all she is a wonderful lady who is a sheer pleasure to work with. The whole team think she is a star and we are blessed to have her part of our charity!”
