Dear Sir,
My whole-hearted congratulations to Mr Whittaker for his tenacity and obvious knowledge of the goings-on in our country, after all it is not called GREAT BRITAIN for nothing!
Both my father and grandfathers fought in two wars to keep these islands safe from the very people who want to take it all away for the pleasure of us paying them to do so. I am a “Leave Europe” supporter, as there may never be another chance to get back our WHOLE sovereignty.
We were doing great until we joined this bunch of leeches, but I do agree we do need to have compassion with regards to migrants. BUT, I mean a few asylum seekers that really do need help, not the rampant get money-for-nothing scroungers that I see when I’m on holiday on the continent with my motor home, and have been attacked by these morons, I see them in this country, dressed up to the nines, as “Big Issue” sellers. Yours and my taxes go to their family in their country and they live here at the taxpayer’s expense.
This is fact as I have actually spoken to one and he voluntarily afforded me this information. I agree with Mr Whittaker – let’s get out of the EU while we can.
In this week’s issue Maud Gray has a letter on the same page headed: “Stop blaming the Tories”. Her first paragraph says the Labour government was responsible for the big crash in 2007, and she is incorrect, as it was a combination of greed from bent bankers in the USA!  As a consequence of this our banks crashed, and the government was at fault for a small part, but the main instigators were the Americans.
