On the 20th of May Defoe court went to the national care awards in Birmingham. We had two staff members who had made it to the finals. Debbie Allen for the good nurse awards and Stacey Nattress for the ancillary worker of the year.
Stacey won the award, not only for her dedication to Defoe court and the residents but for the passion she shows in all that she does. Stacey isn’t afraid of trying new recipes and comes up with ideas on how to make the nation’s favourite biscuits and chocolates more nutritious such as Bounty and Milky Way chocolate bars, custard slices and chocolate eclairs, bourbon biscuits and custard crèmes.
