Spectrum Roller Skater, Jazzmyn Loring, achieved bronze at The British Figure & Free Championships held at Kettering on 23rd/24th June 2018.
Jazzmyn, aged 8, joined the artistic roller skating club at only 4 years old and trains every weekend at Sunnydale Leisure Centre, Shildon.  Hours of hard work paid off when Spectrum’s Jazzmyn achieved bronze podium position in the tots free skating event at The British Championship.
Coach Tracy Stevens commented, “I am so proud of Jazzmyn for her dedication and determination. She was the last skater to compete but held her nerve and focussed her energy into her skating.  It is such a tremendous achievement for our newly established club as it is the first time we have attended The British Championships.
It was a huge entry this year with 24 tots in the girls event.  We were super proud to attend but to come home with a bronze medal is a dream come true. It has been a super weekend and an amazing skate from Jazzmyn. We are all thrilled for her!”
