Our Christmas Market will be held on Sunday 29th November, from 11am to 3pm in the grounds of Cozy Coffee on the outskirts of the village. Tickets for our Badapple Christmas production (11th December) and our festive raffle will be on sale. This will be followed by our Christmas light turn on at 6pm which includes carols around the tree on the green then mulled wine and mince pies in the village hall to warm up (and very possibly dry off!). We welcome everyone to this event which is hosted free of charge by the Brafferton & Coatham Mundeville Village Hall Association.
One of the children in the village has written the following review of our games night to show people how much fun it was! He hopes you enjoy reading it.
“I was looking forward to games night, it’s always SUPER good. It was a bit windy so I ran to the hall because I knew it would be warm inside. First we played beetle. You have to roll a dice and draw a beetle using the numbers you throw then when you are finished you shout beetle.
There’s a prize for the best drawn beetle at the end and a prize for the highest score. After that we ate our fish, chips and mushy peas from Haughton Chippy. They were lovely. While everyone was finishing I played table football with some of the other children.
I was the green team, we had fun. Next we played bingo but I didn’t win anything, they made up lots of silly rhymes with the numbers like 86 breaking sticks. The last game I played was Play your cards right. I was good at it but I lost. Then I went home. It was ten o’clock . I watched a bit of tv then went to bed.
