On Thursday 25 June, 102 Battalion REME in the Aycliffe Armoury hosted disabled members of the Leonard Cheshire Disability Group from Bradbury House in Crook.
During the visit the group toured the Army Reserve Centre, received an introduction to the role of 102 Battalion, handled the equipment and vehicles and also sampled army rations, which were cooked outdoors within the Centre.
The visit was arranged by Warrant Officer Dave Tomlinson and Debbie Parker from Bradbury House. Everyone enjoyed the visit and the Army personnel were delighted to welcome and entertain the group.
