Recently staff at Medical Services (North East) Limited owned by Newtonians Wayne and Joanne Hall heard the tragic news that one of their ambulance drivers had terminal cancer. The company and immediately decided to help raise money for the fight against cancer.
In July female office workers, including the Director of Human Resources, Joanne Hall, completed the “Race For Life” and raised £700 for Cancer Research. On Saturday 28th September, at “More Than Just a Coffee Morning” almost £500 was raised
Following this success, the third fund-raising event for MacMillan will be held at Spennymoor Leisure Centre on Friday 8th November 2013.when the popular Billy Black Band will be performing their “Bon Jordi” tribute Act.
