Bob Adamson (right) works as a volunteer on issues relating to fuel poverty, health and wellbeing plus patient care. He is retired and carries out unpaid work in the Durham Dales, Easington and Sedgefield Clinical Commissioning Group GP Surgeries.

Following a series of Warm Homes Campaign Awareness sessions run by the county Council with the Clinical Commissioning Group Patient referral DCC were delighted to welcome Bob to the role of “Champion!

Bob will assist households who are living in cold, damp homes who may be suffering fuel poverty. In his role as Champion Bob regularly visits GP Surgeries and he was at Bewick Crescent this week.

During his visits Bob provides free and impartial advice on how to save money on energy bills and move to the cheapest and best tariff.
