Dear Sir,
The letter on feeding birds made me ponder how grateful I am for the pleasure I receive from the wide variety of our feathered friends that flock to my natural garden throughout the year.
Wood Pigeons, Ring Neck Doves, Magpies, Starlings tend to grab all the food from Tits, Sparrows Robins and Chaffinches.
So it saddens me to see pigeons threatened and I think it is cruel to place barbaric spikes on buildings and lamp posts causing birds to be mutilated.
