Duncan Oakley is an arts school dropout and songwriter who has performed live since he was fifteen and then joined the comedy circuit in 1999. Duncan performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up with one of his trusty guitars. With an eye and ear for the silly, rude, playful and downright irritating occurrences of life Duncan musters up songs that not only makes you laugh, they bury into the recesses of your mind and find you are humming a tune with a smile on your face 3 days later. A talented all-round musician Duncan can also perform with harmonica, drums & piano as a one man musical whirlwind, and is a regular at the biggest comedy clubs around the UK.

Phil Lucas is a master of highoctane digital tomfoolery. Using PowerPoint, his dodgy PhotoShop, out of date cultural references and a barrage of multimedia silliness have made him a trusty pair of hands on stages up and down the country. Phil is also highly adept at producing online viral material. The winner of the 2013 Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year competition, Freddy Quinne’s uniquely northern observational humour has seen a meteoric rise into some of the biggest clubs in the country. Quinne couples “clever, well placed gags” (Pickled Egg) together with a vulnerable persona for a unique experience which combines to make “a real tour de force performance” (Alex Boardman). Freddy’s willingness to break away from his set and involve the crowd leads for an engaging and memorable set backed up with frantic energy and raw emotion. This show will also feature a new act. Tickets £5, online now from the Hilarity Bites Box Office at http://shop.hilaritybites.co.uk, or in person from The Turbinia. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.
