Dear Sir,
After reading the letter from the disgruntled Newton Aycliffe resident, I felt I must reply by saying Newton Aycliffe is one brilliant town!.
This person is correct when saying that our town centre is a dump but there is work being done to at least start to improve it.
This town has tons of walking space and of course, a HUGE Tesco and right next to that is a very nice park regulary monitored by wardens!.
Our Council may, in this residents opinion, only focus on ‘’The Great Aycliffe Show’’ and the annual firework display, but those events bring enjoyment to people and that’s good enough for me!.
I hope this resident does move away, preferably out to space, because this town will be a better place without people that don’t appreciate it!
