On Thursday 23rd January 2020 Bethany House residents, families, visitors and friends, celebrated Burns Day together.

The residents enjoyed putting together a display for all to see and dressing a Vintage tailors dummy in Traditional Tartan.

Before the celebrations started the Piper walked around the nursing home to do a Meet and Greet and was asked to play a special request, which he did and filled the home with the sound of the bagpipes, amazing!

Debbie cooked the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties & made a Whisky Sauce, for all those who wanted to taste it.

The Haggis was paraded around the lounge, followed by the Piper, songs were sang and everyone joined in the singing, clapping and thoroughly enjoyed the Scottish dancing.

Thank you to Mr Farrell for playing the Bagpipes, Evelyn for singing & yes the “Scottish Dancing” was great.
