BABY SENSORY CLASSES: For parents and carers with babies up to 13 months, there is a sensory class at the village hall on Tuesdays at 10.30am. For details, call Carly on 07881-922076.
CRAFT CLUB: For anyone interested in learning skills in basic knitting, sewing, quilting, card-making or baking, there is a craft club on Tuesday, February 11th, and Tuesday, February 25th, at the village hall from 1-3pm. CHILLAX ‘N’ CHAT: If you fancy unwinding at the end of the week, there will be chance to chill and chat at the village hall on Saturday, February 22nd, from 8pm-midnight, with a film and takeaway. The cost is £5 for grown-ups only. For more details or tickets, call Sue Hindle on 07775-680804.
WI MEETING: Aycliffe Village WI meets for its AGM on Wednesday, February 26, at the village hall at 7.30pm, so there will be no speaker this month. New members would be made very welcome.
JUNIOR DISCO: It’s disco time for children aged five to 12 years at the village hall on Friday, February 28th, from 6.30-8pm. Hot dogs and a range of snacks and drinks will be available. Children can also have a glitter tattoo for £1. Entry is £1.
Volunteers are needed to help maintain Aycliffe Village Hall. If anyone can spare an hour to help clean and tidy up, the village hall is open on Mondays, from 10.30am, when committee members will be on hand to direct activities.
