Aycliffe Village Hall is the venue for a free film show which can be enjoyed by all members of the family. Darlington Video Makers Club, formed over 50 years ago, is celebrating its first season in their new venue, the Village Hall in Aycliffe Village.

Since the move from Darlington last year, membership has shown healthy growth and the new location has proved popular with both existing and new members.

As a thank you the club will be hosting a film show at the Village Hall on Tuesday, 30th January 2018, starting at 7.00pm to which residents of the village and anyone else within driving distance are cordially invited.

The event will be free to those attending, and some of our members will be on hand during the interval to chat with any guests and advise on any video related questions.

A warm welcome awaits and if you are simply looking for an interesting evening away from the ‘Telly’ come along and enjoy the show, flavoured with many topics including travel to foreign climes and the odd injection of humour.

Arthur Best, club visitor contact said:. “If you think the world of amateur film making may be of interest to you and you wish to find out more about our club come and talk to us during the interval or give me a ring on 0191 548 2721.”
