Dear Sir,
I have lived in Aycliffe for 36 years and although we have seen improvements in all aspects of the town over the last few years I must stress the smells we are currently enduring must be putting off any visitors and new businesses investing in the area.
Living in Woodham I have had to endure a foul smell many summer evenings from the nearby fields.  Now, working on the Business Park I am having to endure the repulsive odours from the new Biogas facility.
Myself and all of my work colleagues are having to keep all doors and windows closed on these warm Summer days to attempt to keep the atrocious smell out.
How long will we have to put up with this  dreadful smell? Hopefully not too much longer!
