Skaters from far and wide converged on Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre over the weekend of 6th and 7th July for a very successful national competition of dance, figures, free and show skating.
Local clubs from Shildon and Middlesbourgh took numerous prizes. Shildon skaters, ranging in age from 5 to 65, won silver medals for the club. Picture is of 5 years old, Hannah Anderson, skating her Toy Story routine. Hannah has been skating with us since she was three.
Caprice Roller Skating Club meets most Saturdays in the Sunnydale Leisure Centre, Shildon at 2.30 pm and welcomes skaters of all ages and abilities.
