On Sunday, January 18th from 2:30 – 7:30 there are auditions for outstanding male and female dancers/singers aged 16 to 30 to appear in this version of the legendary Broadway production in May. The production rehearses from 8th February 2015 (Sunday & Thursday evenings) and runs 27th-30th May at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House in Newcastle upon Tyne.
The auditions will be held at the Theatre Royal Studio, Newcastle. (please use the Royal House entrance), registration at 2.30pm and 5.00pm.
This is a dance/vocal audition – please prepare a two minute musical theatre song which best shows off your range and acting ability/characterisation. If you get through the vocal audition you will be required to dance. Please be prepared to stay for the full audition period. Auditions may be recorded/photographed.
