Athena Gymnastics are on a quest to win a £25,000 award with the “One Family Foundation”. The Newton Aycliffe based club is attempting to raise money for new equipment and would like to raise the profile and ultimately support of the local community to do this. The foundation award is granted to the project that gains the most amount of votes by the 20th July.
Anyone can register to vote, it is free and all registrations can opt not to be contacted by the foundation (so no spam emails etc). Winning the award will allow the club to expand its class offered to the local community by purchasing much needed specialist equipment.
