Dear Sir,
We were walking up Burn Lane on Friday 17th May towards Cobblers Hall at approximately 6-15pm when a large Akita dog ran across the road knocked me over and then started to attack our dog.
I managed to grab the attacking dog and get it to release our terrified pet which then through panic ran across the main road. Lucky because of the commotion the traffic had slowed down so she didn’t get hit.
The owner’s excuse when he caught up with his dog was the kids let it out, but after retrieving his dog then just walked off with no regard to how much harm his dog had caused.
We would like to thank the people who helped us with our dog and let them know she is recovering from the ordeal. I attach a picture of “Beth”, our 4 year old Cockapoo.
