Woodham Academy would like to invite community partners to attend the Anne Frank Exhibition hosted within school during April.
The exhibition, which has been touring the UK as part of a national programme to educate young people about damage caused by all forms of prejudice and discrimination, is open from Monday 18th April. Woodham Academy students, having received training from The Anne Frank Trust, will lead groups on a guided tour.
Tour bookings are limited so those interested are urged to contact school as soon as possible. A further evening tour will be available on Wednesday 20th April from 3:30pm.
Media and Marketing Officer, Gemma Porter said “We would like to invite all local schools, community groups and interested parties to take this fascinating tour. Our students have worked hard to be able to deliver these tours and we are thrilled to be able to host the exhibition.”
The exhibition uses Anne Frank’s life and diary to explain the value of democracy in a civil society. The thought provoking tour encourages visitors to focus on issues of identity and moral issues we face in 21st century Britain.
Visits can be made to school by contacting Gemma at g.porter@woodham.org .uk or ringing 01325 300328.
