It was a first for Defoe Court Care Home when Discovery Zoo visited with a selection of rabbits, guinea pigs and reptiles. Residents, relatives and staff were able to see and hold most of the animals and enjoyed the experience. Animal therapy is a great way to increase socialisation and helps with interaction between people and animals and everyone seemed to enjoy this special visit.
