Our Town Centre was buzzing with activity again this Wednesday as large crowds turned out to see another special event organised by the Manager Bryan Haldane.
The theme was animals and children enjoyed seeing birds of prey from Walworth Castle and dog displays by K9 Pursuits on Aycliffe Business Park along with exotic pets for them to hold and touch.
In addition children played on the Bungee Run and fought each other on the Jousting inflatable. There was a Dog Talent Show with prizes for the winners, The Dogs Trust promoted their service and the Cats Protection League was in attendance.
Our Mayor, Jed Hillary, made an appearance and said how pleased he was at how well this event was supported.
There is no doubt these type of attractions bring life to our town centre and the shopkeepers hopefully benefit from increased business.
