Dear Sir,
I read with interest local MP, Paul Howell’s, Parliament Talk in 11th February edition of the Newton News in which he mentions levelling up.
He has yet to reply to my email asking how he voted in Parliament on the plan to reduce the tax on banker bonuses over £25 million from 8% to 3%. He did vote for a below inflation rise in pensions and social security (therefore a cut in real terms) – actions, Mr Howell, speak louder than words.
I also have not yet received an acknowledgement of information I sent him about sewage in rivers. He was unable, surely not unwilling, to advise which water courses in his constituency were affected.
Matt Dudley
