Green Links is an exciting new project that Groundwork NE & Cumbria are delivering with funding secured through Great Aycliffe Middridge Partnership.

Our award winning Green Links programme offers outdoor activities, in a friendly setting, where people living with Dementia and memory loss (and their carers) can socialise and take part in fun, meaningful activities.

A range of outdoor and indoor activities will be provided as well as a very popular garden centre trip and a Christmas meal.

Sessions run every Thursday between 2pm until 4pm, at the Newton Aycliffe Pioneering Care Centre whatever the weather don’t let it stop you from attending, we have an indoor area and we provide refreshments!

Please contact us prior to sessions so we can give you further details and directions.

To register or for more information please contact Natalie Whitworth on 01325 464270 or email at

“The Green Links project will be invaluable for our vulnerable residents and the Great Aycliffe & Middridge Partnership (GAMP) Board fully supports this project”.
