Calling all groups or organisations that need a funding boost – the Happiness Hubs grant scheme is back!
Offering up to £7,500 for applicants that meet the criteria, the Happiness Hubs is available to County Durham and Darlington community focused groups. To apply, organisations need to offer a safe space and activity for local people to meet, make friends, talk and feel supported, with the ultimate goal to help communities live happier, healthier lives.
Both the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board and North East charity, the Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP), are thrilled to relaunch the next round of funding and spread community cheer.
Kelly Carswell, Mental Health Coordinator at PCP, said: “It’s exciting to launch the next round of funding, with a total of £75,000 available to spread across successful applicants.
“If you think your organisation meets the criteria for the Happiness Hubs grant scheme, please get in touch or fill out an application, as you may be in with a chance of developing and supporting a community project that matters to you or your community.”
Previous rounds of funding have seen community organisations that support veterans, new mothers, men and women, older people, young adults, people with learning disabilities, receive funds.
This time round, grants are awarded between £500 and £7,500 to projects lasting at least 12 to 18 months.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel in September 2022, so please submit your application no later than Friday 26th August at 5pm.
