The North East Theatre Organ Association (Mighty Wurlitzer) are proud to celebrate their 30th Anniversary of brilliant professional concerts and events at the New Victoria Centre, Howden-Le-Wear, Near Crook.
The redundant Mighty Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ at Bradford was saved and transported to the former historic Trinity Methodist Chapel which was converted and refurbished as a fine concert and music hall keeping the integrity of the Chapel.
To mark the 30th Anniversary NETOA have redecorated the Centre, and made further enhancements to the magical organ experience have been installed to give a brilliant musical and visual pleasure in a very friendly venue. This highlights one of the best WURLITZERS in Europe and the only one in the North East.
Throughout 2016 the 30th Anniversary will continue with a presentation of fantastic concerts and events commencing 7.00pm Saturday 19th and 2.30pm Sunday 20th March with a double bill featuring two World Class Organists. Playing in both concerts.
