Lifeline Community Action is a charity which serves the community by helping those in need or crisis in the Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas. Our main work is through Helping Hands that has already distributed over £750,000 of aid into our community to those who need it most.

Lifeline Community Action is actively looking for volunteers in the following areas:

Communications Officer: Working within a highly focused small team, who will work closely with us, providing editorial, strategic, creative and operational support across our charity’s work.

Funding Bid/Grant Writer – We are seeking a person interested in helping us get the funds needed for our community work.

You will ideally have: Experience of writing Fundraising Bids/Grants and/or Commissioning/tendering for funding. Attention for detail and able to meet deadlines.

Ability to work from home with access to a computer and the internet.

Ability to use initiative, while being focused and goal/target orientated.
