Newton Aycliffe Scout Centre Social Club are hosting ‘Years Gone By’ on Saturday 17th June. Unfortunately this show was cancelled last year due to one of the band members breaking his hip so we are pleased to say they are now back on the road with something for everyone Rock and Pop, a tribute to the 60’s, 70’s,and 80’s with some fun. YEARS GONE BY are one of, if not the premier duo in the North of England. They bring you the very best in hits from the 60’s to the 90’s, along with audience participation and a sprinkling of real cabaret comedy.
The show features tributes to Elvis and Freddie, they also include props and costume changes and an excellent light show to deliver classics from the biggest acts to go on stage including The Beatles to Bryan Adams, The Shadows, Meatloaf and many more. Best duo and guaranteed to deliver an awesome night’s entertainment. We’d love to see you here at 7:30pm. Tickets are £4 adults and £3 for children. Later this month we will also be hosting a small Classic Car Show organised by The Northern Bygones Society on Tuesday the 20th June from 5pm. This is free to enter so come along and see the cars on display – food will be available to purchase kindly prepared by 1st Newton Aycliffe Scouts.
