More valuable prizes have been received at Newton Press Offices at the Blue Bridge Centre for the Super Raffle and Tombola to be held at the Mad March Gig at the Big Club on Friday 23rd March.

Councillor George Gray and his wife Maud donated five great prizes this week. People who attend the night will be “wowed” by the fantastic prizes available for 50p a ticket.

Top prize is a £700 Robot Mower donated by Husqvarna, and second prize is a VIP tour of Hitachi with a meal for four.

The Rotary Club of Newton Aycliffe wish to record thanks to all who are supporting this big effort in aid of the MRI Scanner Appeal.

President of the club, Tony Robinson said: “We are encouraged by the take-up of tickets for this Grand Show and very grateful for the number of people who have given prizes for the event. This is a wonderful community occasion in aid of equipment which will save many lives.”

If you wish to attend this fantastic night of entertainment get your tickets now before they all go! The evening features local Show Band “Groovy Street” with a guest performance by Newtonian Shanaya, star of X Factor.

It will be a fantastic night of popular music, singing and dancing to suit all tastes. Tickets are only £7.50 and include a Hot Pork Sandwich with Roast Potatoes.
