Members of the New Friends New Places senior group enjoyed their Carvery Lunch at the Oak Leaf Complex on Wednesday last week, where the food was very good and tasty – Hot and served quickly. Although 44 people attended there were no delays every person gave good feedback with no complaints.

Our thanks to the staff especially Judith who made sure that the air conditioning was turned off when required by some members and turned on when other members were too hot. Thank you Judith for your patience.

The group have either three free meals or three bus trips or a mixture of both every three months paid for by the club.

The members pay £2 per week membership which covers a cup of tea and a biscuit each week. They also enjoy monthly Line Dancing Aerobics, Christmas and Easter Parties, trips/meals.

We meet every week and we are now a recognised charity in our tenth year. Thank you to all loyal members.
