Woodham Academy students travelled to Harrogate to find out more about the opportunities offered by apprenticeships.

More than 30 Year 10 students from the school attended the National Apprenticeship Show at the Yorkshire Event Centre.

Students discussed career opportunities with representatives from numerous organisations and companies including Mercedes-Benz, the NHS, Amazon, and Renault, as well as the armed services.

David Walker, head of careers, said: “Woodham offers wide-ranging careers support and guidance to our students.

We want to give them as many opportunities as possible to discover all the career paths available to them and to enable them to make informed choices about their future.”
