Aycliffe Alcohol Recovery & Mutual Support group (AARMS) will be opening the doors of the Phoenix Club, Macmillan Road to extraordinary medium “John Pattison”. John will also be joined by another guest medium.
The event takes place on Tuesday 21st August from 7pm. Tickets are priced at £5.00 each and are available from Love Thy Cupcake, The Phoenix Club, Aycliffe Framers and Val Fawcett on 07598 994054. Entry will also be available on the evening, simply turn up and pay admission on the door.
The event is to raise funds for the AARMS group who are dedicated in helping local alcoholics come to terms with their addiction, help them kick it or just be a friend to talk to.
Val Fawcett who runs the group also organises trips for the members which have included the National Glass Centre, Whitby, indoor bowls and a trip to Bowes and Barnard Castle Christmas Market soon.
The group meet in a private room in Tesco for two hours a week. AARMS is a social group with members who can help with advice, referrals and can even perform an outreach programme.
