Spectrum Roller Skating Club had a super fundraiser bag packing at Bishop Auckland Asda Superstore on Saturday 25th April. The club raised £233.36 and had lots of fun!

Thank you to everyone who participated and donated and a big thank you to Asda for allowing us to raise money for club funds. The money will go towards travel expenses to competitions later this year.

One of our youngest skaters Jazzmyn Loring will be the first member of Spectrum Roller Skating Club to take part in The British Championships. Jazzmyn will compete in three disciplines of artistic roller skating – travelling to two competitions held at Haywards Heath in May and Kettering in June.

Jazzmyn aged 8, will compete in the tots event of figures, free and solo dance. She started skating with Spectrum Roller Skating Club almost four years ago and is very excited to be taking part in such a prestigious event.

If you would like to keep up to date with Jazzmyn’s progress please give our social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) a like/follow. We appreciate your support and are aiming to reach 1k likes.

The club has recently celebrated its 4th birthday and the skaters and families celebrated with a meal at The Hungry Horse Newton Aycliffe. Spectrum Roller Skating Club would like to thank everyone who has supported the club and we are very excited moving forward into our 5th year.
