One of England’s elite match officials will be guest speaker at the Bishop Auckland Referees’ Association next week.

FIFA and Premier League referee, Anthony Taylor will visit the Association’s meeting on Thursday 18 January 2018 at The Manor Public House, Cornwall Road, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6UR starting at 7.30pm. Entry is free.

Anthony refereed the 2017 FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Chelsea, and recently officiated in the FIFA U17 World Cup in India.

Anthony, 39, from Cheshire joined the ‘Select Group’ list of Premier League officials in the 2010/11 season, gaining FIFA international status in 2015.
