Dear Sir, I would like to place on record my thanks to the County Council’s emergency response team who were contacted at 10pm on Monday 21st November after I was made aware of a tree that had come down on Dalton Way in the storm. The road was blocked across one side of the carriageway, causing a significant hazard. The response team came out in the middle of the night, in high winds and driving rain, with a chain saw to clear the pavement and road. A job well done, that deserves our thanks.
