The New Friends New Places Club meets every Tuesday from 1.30pm until 4.00pm at The Navy Club, Burnhill Way.
The club over the years has grown to around 40 members and new members are most welcome and you can be picked up at home for your first visit.
The club held their annual Christmas Party receiving a visit from Mr and Mrs Claus. The local Police Beat Team: P.C. Mike Welch and PCSO Michael Hutchinson distributed shed alarms, night lights, handbag bells and lots of other free safety equipment.
Come and join us – we have different activities over the month including Line Dancing, Armchair Aerobics, Quizzes, Bingo, Mystery tours and the last Tuesday of each month we have live entertainment: 29th January: Kevin Royale, 24th February: Stephen Richards, 31st March: Shirley Mac, 28th April: Tony St. Claire. Admission to non members is £3 and a bar is available.
