Sedgefield Water Polo club presented their Player of the Year awards for 2013 later than usual due to the pool at Newton Aycliffe being closed for maintenance.
The Under 12 winner was Jessica Webb (10) for big improvements in her swimming and polo skills. Jessica has a bright future in the sport.
Taking the Under 14 winner was Kristopher Egginton (12) who showed his huge potential to play the sport at a higher level after a star performance in the National Championships and playing for the District Under 16 team.
The Under 16 winner was John Pratt (15) who is a member of the GB Under 17 squad and is rated as the best player in his age group with huge potential for the future.
The Under 18 winner was James Pratt (16) who has showed a tremendous work ethic and is going for trials for the GB Junior team soon.
