Galas in November & December saw Sedgefield 75 triumph again in the medal stakes as well as swimmers smashing personal bests in most of their races.
November at Wear Valley saw the team of 12 swim for the first time since the summer break. A total of 16 medals were won with Niall Coulthard & Leah Smith medalling in every race. Niall also swum his way to 3rd in the UK for his age at 400 free – an amazing achievement!
Last weekend another team of 12 again competed. This time in a gala hosted by Northallerton Swimming Club at Eston. 18 gold, 16 silver and 6 bronze places were won, the most medals we have won in a long time and there were 28 personal best times which is an amazing achievement considering some of these times were pb’s from Wear Valley last month.
The club AGM will be held on Thursday 14th December at the Pioneering Care Centre in Aycliffe at 7.30 all welcome to attend and help make the club an even greater success in the year to come.
