Dear Sir,
I arrived at Aldi in Newton Aycliffe on Saturday to do my families weekly shop. I had my young 6 month old baby with me. I went to locate a baby friendly trolley to no avail.
I went inside the store to ask if they had any available, and was informed that if there were none outside then no.
I then asked how I would complain about this and the cashier got someone to speak to me.
Aldi told me they all get allocated a number of trolleys and they must have all gone.
They did not provide me with a solution and just informed me to complain online. So I had to go to a different store to carry out my shopping.
I feel that a big superstore like Aldi should have trolleys available and by not doing so are discriminating against families like mine.
They should have a system in place to ensure there are sufficient trollies available.
Many thanks
Amanda Gray
