In June last year Bill Hedley drove a Xsara from Newton Aycliffe to Benidorm in Spain via Rouen / Bordeaux and Zaragosa to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance.
He admits to being mad and is going again this June on behalf of the Solan Connor Fawcett Family Cancer Trust based in Spennymoor who look after people who suffer from the dreaded disease. No matter where the Trust also helps carers and families when and where possible.
