Description of Activities: NASSA is a registered charity run by a small group of people on a strictly voluntary basis. There is a community hall with licensed members bar. The hall is used mainly for scouting activities but can be hired for parties, meetings etc. We currently have a vacancy on Tuesday evenings and would like to hear from any club or organistion interested in hiring the hall for their use. The licensed bar is members only and all profits generated are used to maintain and run the building allowing the scout groups to use the hall free of charge. Other organisations are charged a nominal fee and these charges also go to fund the building. We hold regular fundraising events which are usually family based to allow all the family to have a social night out. Details are published in the Newton News and on our facebook page.
