Two enterprising young Newtonians are about to open a fresh new dance school. Qualified dance teachers Emily Henderson who is 22 years old and Frances Wade who will shortly celebrate her 20th birthday decided that the time was right to launch Infinity Dance Company which will hold classes in the two halls at St Clare’s Church in the Town Centre, returning dancing to the heart of the Community.
Both girls are past students from Greenfield Community College and through dancing have over the years made many friends from all over the region.
Emily said “We have both danced since we were very young and the passion we have for it is our driving force. We recognise that setting up by ourselves needs a lot of determination and hard work, but, we are both at a stage in our lives where we can wholeheartedly commit to the dance school.
We want to achieve high standards whilst exploring new ideas to ensure that students of all ages and abilities thoroughly enjoy our classes and are offered the opportunity to reach their full potential.”
This is the second dance school to be based at St Clare’s and Frances said “The Church is a perfect place for us to establish our school, it is central to the town making it easily accessible by foot, it has lots of free parking nearby as well as being on the main bus route into town. There are two halls that we can use which are just the right size and provide the right environment for teaching. The Front Hall is particularly nice, it even has a stage which will give us some flexibility to put on performances as we develop.”
The girls also praised the Church Officials who have been particularly helpful in getting things organised without delay.
Infinity Dance Company will be holding their Launch Night in St Clare’s Front Hall on Wednesday 6th April from 6.30pm through to 8pm.
Classes will be held on a Wednesday and Thursday evenings plus a Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon and are offered to children aged from 3 years right up to more mature adults. You can sign up for a number of different styles including, Street, Lyrical, Tap, Ballet and Break dancing.
